Session 3: Dealing with a behavioural issue
Arrests of staff, peer-on-peer abuse, and disciplinary issues can all lead to communication challenges, as the strong demand for information from stakeholders clashes with legal constraints which restrict what schools can say. This session will consider how to walk this tightrope, and also reflect on best practice when dealing with disclosures of non-recent abuse.
