Ben is the Specialist Partner focussed on Entertainment & Creative Industries. He is a former national newspaper executive and national magazine editor and for the previous 10 years was Simon Cowell’s UK and European Media Chief. In addition, he was also SVP – and de facto COO – of Cowell’s business Syco Entertainment plus VP of Corporate Comms for Sony Music UK. He still consults regularly for Cowell, amongst a number of celebrities and corporate organisations he is associated with.
Advised major entertainment companies and individuals on crisis and reputation advice in major media emergencies, taking the lead in PR for that firm in the immediate period of the crisis.
He has advised on major strategic policy changes for companies.
He is a specialist with HNW individuals and major celebrities in protecting their reputations and brands.
Provides an expert crisis and reputation PR training service based on his 16 years as a journalist and editor and his long-running association with Simon Cowell and Syco’s most famous TV shows (X Factor, Got Talent), talent and artists (including One Direction; Little Mix; James Arthur et al).
