Schools are often called on to communicate about difficult subjects that can affect their reputations if not handled sensitively and proportionately. Accidents; arrests; employment disputes; free speech and EDI issues; and allegations of abuse are among the many challenging situations that schools can face – and all come with legal constraints on what can be said, something that adds further complexity.
