Mike Large

Mike Large advises Alder’s clients on reputation and risk, particularly during periods of change and intense scrutiny. He has more than 20 years’ experience advising senior leaders through complex, high-profile situations.

Mike was Group Corporate Affairs & Communications Director at ITV. He sat on the Management Board and was chief spokesperson during the company’s five-year business transformation. His remit spanned talent-related crises, programme controversies and market-sensitive announcements alongside wider corporate communications.

He went on to become Group Director of Communications at global television production group All3Media. As a member of the Executive Committee, he advised the CEO and Board through Covid, M&A and reputational challenges.

Earlier in his career, Mike worked in Hill & Knowlton’s issues and crisis team. There he advised clients including high street banks, food producers, entertainment companies and Olympic athletes. He began his career as a newspaper reporter and is an NCTJ-qualified journalist.
