Simon brings more than 25 years of leadership experience, with a focus on complex international environments.
He joined Cairn Energy in 1995 and went on to serve as Chief Executive from 2011 to 2023. He led the business through a period of significant growth, overseeing major transactions and navigating complex legal and stakeholder issues.
Simon is currently Non-Executive Chair of Rockhopper Exploration plc., and Non-Executive Director of Big Technologies plc.
